A critical aspect of screen printing is how well the squeegee can resist swelling when exposed to inks and harsh solvents. Plei-Tech®;squeegees are available in a variety of polyurethane compounds formulated to perform in these environments.

UV, epoxy, enamel, vinyl, and other solvent based inks are extremely harsh on squeegee blades. Inferior squeegees tend to swell and wear at an accelerated rate due to their inability to resist harsh solvents. Plei-Tech®;squeegees are recommended because of their chemical resistance and exceptional abrasion resistance when exposed to high solvent content inks.

Plei-Tech®;squeegees are available in a multitude of squeegee profiles designed to meet the exacting demands of your screen printing application. These profiles are molded in a variety of Plei-Tech®;compounds, and the correct selection of Plei-Tech®;will result in the most cost effective performance.

SE-C

Straight Edge-Composite Durometer

A soft printing tip bonded to a hard shaft. Eliminates blade roll-over and squeegee vibration on high speed automatic equipment.

Available in Shore A Hardness:
90/50, 90/60 & 90/70. Plei-Tech®;22 only.

SE-T

Straight Edge-Triple Durometer

An exceptional tool for critical ink shear. Two soft edges with hard backing between. Maintains proper angle with no blade roll over.

Available in Shore A Hardness:
60/90/60 & 70/90/70. Plei-Tech®;15 & 22.

SE-D

Straight Edge-Dual Durometer

A single soft printing edge with hard backing. Eliminates blade roll over. Helps maintain blade angle for excellent ink shear.

Available in Shore A Hardness:
60/90 & 70/90. Plei-Tech®;15 & 22.

DB-T

Double Bevel - Triple Durometer

A soft printing edge sandwiched between harder durometers. Great for high screen tensions or control of ink deposit on irregular surfaces.

Available in Shore A Hardness:
90/60/90 & 90/70/90. Plei-Tech®;15 & 22. 45, 60 and 90 degree angles.

SB-D

Single Bevel - Dual Durometer

Ideal for container printing and extremely irregular surfaces when ink deposit control is critical. Excellent for higher tension screens.

Available in Shore Hardness:
60/90 & 70/90. Plei-Tech®;15 & 22.
22.5, 30 and 45 degree angles.

SB-S

Single Bevel - Single Durometer

Conforms easily to irregular surfaces while maintaining excellent ink deposit control. Widely used in container printing.

Available in Shore A Hardness:
70, 80 & 90.
Plei-Tech®; 15 & 22.
22.5, 30 and 45 degree angles.

SE-S

Straight Edge - Single Durometer

The most common squeegee used in graphic and textile printing applications. Exceptionally wear and solvent resistant for long-life use. Also available in precision edge for the highest print quality.
