The next generation in automatic textile printers.
With the new Challenger Series II press, M&R
Printing Equipment has established an entirely new standard for
affordable, high-performance automatic textile printing.
M&R engineers took a fresh look at the
growing needs of print shops, examining everything from set-up and
controls, to return on investment. The result is a bold new press,
designed from the operator’s point of view and engineered using
the most sophisticated computer and manufacturing technology.

Enhanced operation and print quality
To be competitive into the next millennium,
screen printers must deliver both speed and quality. To ensure
fast, exceptional print output the Challenger II features a new,
powerful servo-driven indexer that guarantees a consistent, smooth
linear operation even at top speeds. Newly designed print heads
feature a powerful print carriage and heavy-duty screen holders to
provide unprecedented strength and ensure maximum stability.
Set-up time is significantly reduced
Because set-up time can have a significant effect
on profitability; the new Challenger II is engineered for use with
the Tri-loc registration system to help get you printing quickly
and efficiently. A unique multi-position pallet locating system
allows pallets to be changed quickly, without time-consuming
measuring and adjustments. An on-screen monitor helps ensure that
the electrical load remains stable when pallets are changed.
Proper indexing speed is simply and precisely set with the push of
a button on the enhanced operator interface of the Challenger II.
Other new time saving features include; easy-to-read
calibrations for quick and repeatable adjustments in the squeegee/floodbar
and print stroke settings; pneumatic screen clamps engineered to
accommodate different types of screens without slipping while
locking with just the flip of a switch; pneumatic squeegee/
floodbar clamps and free-wheel capability.
Versatility for greater profitability
The Challenger II includes an enhanced operator
interface with instantly recognizable "plain language"
programming to put all essential controls at the operator’s
fingertips. The interface also includes an extensive
self-diagnostic program as well as data-gathering capability,
allowing easy monitoring of production rates. The new Challenger II
also features an expanded 20" x 28" print area that
permits you to print a broader selection of art work and
materials.
