Introduced in 1982, the Black Flash®; has since become the industry standard in flash/spot cure units. Manual or automatic, the Black Flash®; is available in a range of sizes, wattages and voltages to suit any application.
“Black Body®;” is a physics term that represents the most efficient absorber of radiant energy. In 1967 Black Body®; Corporation developed a flat panel emitter with an excellent “emissivity” factor (rate of emitting energy) that is highly efficient and uniform.
That means the patented Black Body®; emitter converts almost all of the energy used into clean, even heat across the entire face of the element, with a durability surpassing anything comparable in the industry.
Success in numerous commercial and industrial applications led to the discovery that Black Body®; heaters performed exceptionally well in the screenprinting industry, “flashing” (gelling) most inks in 5-7 seconds and “curing” (completely drying) those inks in 30-40 seconds.
